MSC Special Edition 2021

Beyond Westlessness: Renewing Transatlantic Cooperation, Meeting Global Challenges

Joe Biden, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, Boris Johnson, António Guterres, Jens Stoltenberg, Ursula von der Leyen, Charles Michel, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, John F. Kerry, and Bill Gates participated at the event titled "Beyond Westlessness: Renewing Transatlantic Cooperation, Meeting Global Challenges." The virtual event also marked the 57th Munich Security Conference, which could not be held in its usual format due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The MSC Special Edition marked the beginning of the "Road to Munich". Stops on this road include virtual high-level events and initiatives to prepare the ground for the 58th Munich Security Conference, which is currently planned for February 2022.
